Advocate’s body found in lake

Advocate P. Rajanikanth’s (32) body was found in the Saroornagar lake on Friday.

A resident of Chaitanyapuri Colony, he was missing since Thursday. The police are suspecting that the advocate would have committed suicide by jumping into the lake .

Boy run over

N. Pandu(2) was killed after he was run over by a school bus near his house at Tapovan Colony in Saroornagar on Thursday evening.

He was playing when the bus driver rammed into the boy resulting in grievous injuries. The boy died on the spot, according to the police.

Motorcyclist killed

Mohammed Ghouse(22), was killed after a tourist bus hit the motorcycle on which he was travelling along with his friend Mohammed Taher at Hussaini Alam on Thursday. The police said Ghouse of Vattepally was going on some work when the accident occurred.

Taher escaped with minor injuries.

Depressed girl ends life

A minor girl committed suicide by jumping into a well at Indrapastha Colony in L. B. Nagar on Thursday. K. Vijaya (14), a resident of Hasthinapuram, ended her life in front of her mother Yadamma after the latter allegedly chided her for not going to school, the police said.

Tax Inspector arrested

Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Friday arrested the Tax Inspector of Circle-7 of GHMC, M. Devadas, at his office in Secunderabad on charge of accepting Rs. 3,000 bribe from a person.
