Five hurt in accident

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five persons, Kenneth, 25, Adarsh, 24, Mithun, 23, Arun, 23 and Suresh, 23, were injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into the road divider on the Vellayambalam–Vazhuthacaud road late on Saturday night. The fire and rescue service was called in to clear an oil spill caused by the accident.
