Traders hail Corporation move

KOCHI: Ernakulam Merchants’ Union has welcomed the decision of the City Corporation not to grant licences to Indian and foreign “monopolies” to open retail outlets and to withdraw the licences already granted. A relea se said here on Saturday that the Union and State Governments should make legislations to rein in the multi-national and national “monopolies.”
