Four held for attacking inspector

VILLUPURAM: The police on Wednesday arrested four persons on charges of attacking and inflicting injuries on Inspector Raghu and driver Natarajan of the Kandamangalam police station.

The accused were identified as J. Aiyanar (40) of Pakkamedu, P. Balraj (22) and A. Nooruddin (42) of Villupuram and M. Sirajuddin (20) of Madugarai.

The police also seized a van used by them. — Special Correspondent
