SVU printing press revived

TIRUPATI: The defunct printing press on SV University campus began functioning again with the management reviving at a cost of Rs.11 lakh.

The press was commissioned almost when the university was established, but the machines deteriorated over a period of five decades. An offset printing machine, a crown-size printing machine, a pinning machine, computers and scanners were provided to the press recently, which were all inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor S. Jayarama Reddy on Thursday.
