Follow the leader

Herd mentality! Perhaps, it applies best to the aspirants of Engineering courses. The top ranker who attended the counselling this year opted for Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). And there were scores who followed him. Among the top 38 who attended counselling in various parts of the State 32 joined in ECE while only six chose Computer Science Engineering. Interestingly, a professor remarked before the counselling that the first ranker would pave the way for others.
