Nehru award for city scientist

Maganti Sheshu Madhav, a bio-technologist at the Directorate of Rice Research at Rajendranagar, bagged the Jawaharlal Nehru Award - 2006, for his doctoral research on ‘Molecular mapping and isolation of blast resistant gene in rice’.
