Manikandan in last four
Coimbatore: Favourite M.R. Manikandan of Chennai and local hope N. Sriram, as expected, entered the under-19 boys’ singles semifinal on the penultimate day of the Tamil Nadu State-ranking junior badminton tournament at the Officers Club and Cosmopolitan Club courts here on Saturday.
Manikandan did not sweat much on his way to a 21-11, 21-6 win over S. Karthick of Madurai, while Sriram easily defeated District-mate Cibi 21-7, 21-11.
