Correction

In the story titled ‘Councillors, Corporation staff get mobile phones’ published in these columns in the July 23 edition, it was mentioned that substituting the ward number for the last digits of 94451 00000 would provide the new phone numbers of councillors. The number should have been 94451 90000.

The subsequent lines should read “For instance, ward 2 councillor could be reached on 94451 90002, ward 12 councillor on 94451 90012 and the councillor of ward 143 on 94451 90143, and so on till ward 155. This holds true for every ward, except ward 140.”
