NEW DELHI: Four alleged drug peddlers have been arrested by the Delhi unit of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) from different parts of Punjab. The agency claims to have seized about 18 kg of heroin of Afghan origin from them. Two of the accused were arrested at Kathu on Amritsar-Pathankot Road when they were allegedly carrying 4.95 kg of heroin in a private bus on Sunday. They were identified as Rajender Singh and Sukhchain Singh.In another case, the DRI arrested Sarabjeet Singh after 8 kg of heroin was allegedly seized from him at Ludhiana on July 19. Amandeep Singh, from whom the DRI purportedly seized 5 kg of heroin, was arrested at Jalandhar on July 17.
