Killed in accident

Thiruvananthapuram: Suresh Kumar, 40, of Vattiyoorkavu was killed when the motorbike on which he was travelling collided with a bus at Kaduvapally on the NH near Attingal on Thursday. Unni of Nettayam, who was riding pillion, escaped unhurt.
Injured in attack
An armed gang attacked and injured Binish (21) at Vettucaud on Thursday evening. The police said his palm was severed in the attack. A case of attempt to murder has been registered. He is under treatment at the Medical College Hospital here.
