SHIRDI: This famous temple town is all decked up for the three-day Guru Purnima festival being celebrated this weekend by the Shri Sai Baba Sansthan Trust. Special arrangements have been made for devotees who follow the Guru-Shishya legacy and wish to express gratitude to their Guru. According to Sansthan Chairman Jayant Sasane, preparations have been made to meet the heavy rush of people who come here for “darshan” of Sai Baba’s samadhi. The inaugural function on Saturday will begin with morning prayers and a procession, a schedule that would be repeated on Sunday, the Guru Purnima day. The celebrations will end on Monday.
