Facile win for St. Germain’s

BANGALORE: St. Germain’s High School scored a facile 5-0 victory over Cathedral High School in the Allan MacBride memorial (under-12) inter-school hockey tournament on Friday. Shishir Aiyanna (5th & 10th) scored twice while Arshith (15th), Tejus (19th) and Purshottham (29th), rounded off the tally.

In another match, St. John’s High School also beat Frank Anthony Public School 5-0 with Henry (5th, 27th & 37th) scoring a treble and Kishore (14th) along with Raju (34th) scoring once each for the winner.

In the Tanvi Rao Memorial hockey tournament for girls under 10th standard, Frank Anthony Public School beat Bishop Cotton’s `B’ 2-0. Nikita Hookens (22nd) and Niveda Prakash (30th) scored for FAPS.
