VISAKHAPATNAM: The sExport Credit Guarantee Corporation of India Limited (ECGC) will enter into general insurance soon, according to its General Manager Sandeep Mukherjee. Speaking at the golden jubilee celebrations of the public sector unit here on Thursday, he said the company had increased its authorised capital of Rs. 5 crores in 1957 to Rs. 1,000 crores by introducing several insurance products for pre and post-shipment export. ECGC Regional Manager Zarina Sheikh and branch manager S.K. Rajguru also spoke.
