Secretary inspects check posts at Zuzuvadi

Hosur: The Secretary Commercial Taxes and Registration Department, M. Devaraj, inspected the check posts of the Commercial Taxes, Department of Forests and Transport at Zuzuvadi near here on Friday. He also inspected check posts at Andhivadi and Bommandapalli.
Later he discussed with officials on the need for establishment of a State-of-the art integrated check post at Kallukondapalli on Anaikal Road on the Tamil Nadu-Karnataka border. Commissioner Commercial Taxes D. Jacob, Collector Santhosh Babu and RTO M. Rajan accompanied.
House burgled
Unidentified persons escaped with cash and jewellery from a locked house in the BSNL quarters at Kattikanapalli, Krishnagiri, on Saturday. Police said the owner Manoharan along with his wife Alamelu had gone to a nearby temple when the incident happened.
