KURNOOL: It is going to be a windfall for Primary Agriculture Cooperative Societies (PACS) in Kurnool district as the bodies are likely to receive a total package of Rs. 135 crore. The financial assistance was meant for wiping of total losses and giving an opportunity to the PACS to start a fresh business. Talking to reporters here on Friday, Chairman of Kurnool District Cooperative Central Bank P.P. Nagi Reddy said Andhra Pradesh was the first state to enter into a tripartite agreement with the Centre and NABARD to accept the recommendations of Vaidyanatham committee.
