Kiran scalps six

Mysore: A fine spell by medium-pacer Kiran (5.5-4-1-6) helped Garner CC skittle out Navajyothi CC for a paltry 23 in 12 overs and register a 10-wicket win in the KSCA Mysore Zone’s third division league at the Gangothri Glades grounds here on Sunday.

The scores: Navajyothi CC 23 in 12 overs (Kiran one for six, Abhijith four for 18) lost to Garner CC 24 without loss in five overs.

Vijaya Cricketers 199 in 46.1 overs (Kiran four for 37) bt Kollegal CC 157 in 37 overs (Shyam Prasad 48).

At Mandya: Jawahar’s CC (Mandya) 149 in 41.1 overs lost to KR Nagar SC 151 for seven in 42.2 overs (Venkatesh 48).
