VISAKHAPATNAM: Sneha Sandhya, Welfare Society for Senior Citizens, organised an interactive session on common eye diseases at Hotel Daspalla on Sunday. Cornea specialist C.V. Gopala Raju, retina specialist and ophthalmologist of Visakha Eye Hospital I. Venkata Rao gave a power-point presentation on common eye diseases. They explained the measures for eye care and advised people to go for regular eye check-up. For prevention of blindness, they recommended proper diet. Among diabetic patients, eye check-up is a must for every six months, they said. Members of Sneha Sandhya and also others attended the meeting. Society vice-chairman K.J.R. Sharma presided over the meeting.
