Prakash and Somdev progress

NEW DELHI: Prakash Amritraj and Somdev Dev Varman made it to the second and final qualifying round of the Legg Mason ATP Tour event at Washington DC.

The fourth-seeded Amritraj beat American wild card Treat Huey 6-4, 6-4, while wild card Dev Varman b the fifth-seeded Kamil Capkovic of Slovakia 6-2, 6-2.

However, the sixth-seeded Karan Rastogi went down 6-2, 6-1 to Nathan Thompson of the US.
