Arun Senthil wins title
PUDUKOTTAI: B. Arul Senthil, with four points, at the end of the fourth and final round, won the under-25 title at the District selection chess tournament here on Sunday.
Final standings: Under-25: 1. B. Arul Senthil (Govt. Model HSS 4), 2. N. Parthiban (Govt. ITI, 3), 3. A. Gopinath (Govt. Model, 3).
U-17: 1. R. Lakshmikanth (Govt. Model, 4), 2. J. Manoj Kumar (Kulapathy Balaiah HSS, 3), 3. G. Thatchayani (Sacred Heart GHSS, 3).
U-13: 1. R. Manojram (Kulapathy Balaiah, 4.5), 2. B.P. Dinesh (St. Mary’s HSS, 4.5), 3. R. Hariharan (SFS MHSS, 4).
