SBI decision on fund raising shortly

NEW DELHI: State Bank of India will decide on the route for raising funds to meet its capital require- ments in the next couple of months. Asked whether the bank would float a rights issue or go in for a public offering, SBI Chairman O.P. Bhatt said “The decision would be taken in a month or two.”
