HYDERABAD: The State Government has convened a meeting here on August 8 to discuss the problems of journalists. The announcement about the meeting was made by Information and Public Relations Minister Anam Ramnarayan Reddy when a delegation of Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists called on him on Thursday. Postponed
The union postponed its proposed agitational programme which sought focussing journalists’ problems on the Minister’s assurance. A press release said the Minister, Anam Ramnarayan Reddy promised steps to reconstitute district and State-level accreditation committees besides considering awards and house sites to journalists.
