Imports of sensitive items up

NEW DELHI: India’s imports of sensitive items went up by 11.6 per cent in the first quarter of 2007-08 to Rs. 4,877 crore from Rs. 4,371 crore in the same period last year, led by a sharp rise in the import of edible oils.
