VISAKHAPATNAM: The 21st Century Gurukulam, at present located at Modavalasa near here, will be located in a permanent building on Andhra University ground near Sivajipalem, said Vice-Chancellor L. Venugopal Reddy here on Wednesday. He was speaking after inaugurating a transit centre of the Gurukulam in the AU School of Distance Education (AUSDE) premises. About 32 students of the Gurukulam, including eight girls, will get trained here for some time as there was no internet connection at Modavalasa. Prof. Venugopal Reddy said the concept of 21st Century Gurukulam, which started in November was showing good results. The youngsters would be given training to face competitive examinations and job interviews. AU Rector B. Satyanarayana, Registrar P. Vijaya Prakash and others were present.
