Assistant engineer suspended for laxity

VIJAYAWADA: Municipal Commissioner Natarajan Gulzar on Wednesday issued orders suspending K. Rambabu, assistant engineer in the Viajyawada Municipal Corporation, following complaints from the residents of Moghalrajapuram that the assistant engineer was showing negligence while supervising the underground drainage works in their area.

Mr. Gulzar, in a statement here, warned the officials against showing any negligence while discharging their duties and causing inconvenience to the public.
