3 naxalites injured in encounter

Nagpur: Three naxalites were injured in a gunfight with police in Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra, police said on Thursday.

A group of 70 to 80 naxalites fired at a police patrol party on Wednesday in the dense forest area of Kasanur area in Etapalli taluka. The police retaliated and in the encounter, three naxalites were injured. But they managed to escape. — PTI
