NEW DELHI: Nine thousand rupees in cash and 15 blank cheques belonging to a co-operative society of Union Home Ministry officials have allegedly been stolen. According to the police, Hire and Purchase Co-operative Society president Pramod Kumar Rawat on Wednesday lodged a report claiming that a strong-box containing the cash and cheques was found missing on August 6 morning. The co-operative society office is located outside the main building of North Block that houses the Home Ministry offices. No arrests have been made so far.
