Lalu Prasad wants to act in Hema Malini film
Seeking a role: Actor and BJP MP Hema Malini and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad after voting in the Vice-Presidential election at Parliament House in New Delhi on Friday.
New Delhi: Railway Minister and the effervescent RJD chief, Lalu Prasad, wants a role in a film being made by BJP MP Hema Malini.
Mr. Prasad told reporters this on Friday when asked what he was saying to her after casting his vote in the Vice-Presidential poll.
“It was all about a new film being made by her (Hema Malini). I told her that I want a role in the film,” Mr. Prasad said, breaking into laughter, leaving journalists wondering whether he was serious or joking.
Then, when someone asked him the name of the film, he answered “film ka naam gopaniya hai (the name of the film is secret).”
As Mr. Prasad was engrossed in some serious conversation with the film star in the Parliament House corridor, photographers covering the polling were busy capturing the moment.
Avoids media
Hema Malini, however, avoided the media and left the place. — PTI
