Sweepers stage demo

VIZIANAGARAM: Sweepers (affiliated to CITU) working in municipal schools in Salur municipality on Monday staged protest demonstration at the Collectorate here demanding salaries due for the last 17 months. They were not getting salaries since the Education Department transferred the salaries account to the municipality, CITU leader N.Y. Naidu said in a statement.
