Satyanarayana wins title

P. Satyanarayana won the title in the open seniors category in the 16th Brilliant trophy prize money chess tournament on Sunday.

The placings:

Open seniors: P. Satyanarayana (6), J. Ramakrishna (5.5), P. Praveen Prasad (5), K. Vijay Kanth (5), J.V. Ramana (5), P.V.V. Seshu (4.5), J.R.C. Prasad (4.5, Venkata Kishore (4.5) and Chiman Prakash Reddy (4.5).

Juniors: K. Praneeth Surya.

Boys:

U-14: T. Sai Pavan, U-12: Sai Agni Jivitesh, U-8: K. Koushik.

Girls:

U-14: B. Deepika, U-12: T. Sushmita, U-10: B. Mansi Pratima, U-8: Parnavi.
