SAI (Salem), Coimbatore win

TIRUCHI: SAI (Salem) and Coimbatore clinched the overall championship titles in the men’s and women’s sections respectively in the 20th State taekwondo championship here on Sunday.

The winners: Men: Fin: Dinesh Balu (SAI); Fly: Rajesh (SAI); Bantam: Vinod Kumar (Vel); Feather: Sharath Kumar (SAI); Light: Kumaresh (Slm); Welt er: Joseph Raj (Vel); Middle: Devanathan (Cud); Heavy: R. Vignesh (Cud).

Women: Fin: Shifana (Cbe); Fly: Muthu (Try); Bantam: Sathya (Cbe); Feather: Yakshitha (Vel); Light: Himalaya (Vel); Welter: Malinidevi (Che) ; Middle: Iba (TN Police); Heavy: Pandiammal (TN Police).
