Explosive-laden flag recovered in J&K

Jammu: Security forces have foiled an attempt by militants to trigger explosions on Independence Day by recovering an explosive-laden tricolour from a village in Ramban district.

Official sources on Wednesday said that the flag was recovered on Tuesday night from Ari village. The flag has been seized and a hunt launched to track down militants making such flags, they said. The militants were planning to trigger blasts in Banihal during Independence Day celebrations. — PTI
