HYDERABAD: Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy urged people to desist from “unnecessary agitations” and instead cooperate with him to reap the full benefits from the schemes grounded by his Government. Speaking at the 61st Independence Day celebrations after unfurling the national tricolour, he said a dedicated effort was needed from everyone to achieve the full results of these schemes as no amount of work by a single minister or official would suffice. “Cooperation from all sides is the need of the hour,” he said, in what was considered an oblique reference to the land struggle of the Left parties.
