Special campaign against polio

WARANGAL: A special immunisation campaign against polio will be held from August 19 to 21 in all the villages and tribal habitations of the district.

According to the District Collector K. Damayanthi, the campaign was aimed at all the uncovered children in the district and special focus will be on immunisation of children of the nomadic people and labourers in the unorganised sectors.

The contractors employing labourers and social workers will be involved in making the drive a success. Every effort would be made to ensure that no child is left out.
