College teacher commits suicide in A.P.

KADAPA: Sunitha (25), a teacher of Sri Venkateswara Degree College in Kadapa, committed suicide by hanging herself in her residence in Sivanandapuram near industrial estate on the outskirts of Kadapa city on Thursday.

An Intermediate student Narendra Kumar Reddy, who resided in Sivanandapuram and his friend, Jagadeeswar Reddy, a dropout who studied up to eighth standard, wrote a letter to the teacher claiming to have videographed her while she was taking bath and demanded Rs.5,000, Chinna Chowk Circle Inspector V. Narayanaswamy Reddy said.

Police registered a case of abetment of suicide against the two youth who were arrested by the police.
