Three girls drowned in the Kundu

NANDYAL: Three girls drowned in the Kundu at Nandyal on Thursday. According to reports, the girls fell in the river when they went to firewood from the banks of the Kundu. The deceased were identified as Rahamt Bi, 14, Pirdouse, 11, and Asaf, 14. Two bodies were fished out by evening.

Meanwhile, in another incident, one person died and three received injuries when an auto collided with a lorry at Ilurumetta near Nandyal town.
