Modern ship design facility

The Hindustan Shipyard Limited (HSL) on Thursday commissioned a modern ship design facility at a cost of Rs. 2.5 crores.

Chairman and Managing Director Ajit Tewari, who inaugurated the facility, said the centre was equipped with Tribon M3 ship design software, Autodesk 2008 and other shipbuilding software.

Tribon M3 software has basic design, hull design, piping, cabling and outfitting modules and enables to create three-dimensional model of ship.
