PATNA: Poor flood relief operations in Bihar have caused unrest among the rank and file of the ruling coalition, leading to violence and a spate of resignations. The simmering dissent came to the fore at a review meeting in Bettiah in West Champaran district on Friday. It was presided over by Deputy Chief Minister S.K. Modi. A large number of people gathered to protest against alleged ineffective distribution of relief material in the district. Things turned so bad that the police arrested the brother of BJP MLA Satish Chandra Dubey, Pradeep Chandra Dubey.
