BANGALORE: Anup Sridhar moved up from 41 to a career-best world ranking of 29 after his superb show in the World badminton championship at Kuala Lumpur last week. Anup, a quarterfinalist at the event, garnered 6600 points and has become the highest-ranked Indian male player, surpassing National champion Chetan Anand, who is ranked No. 33. Saina Nehwal tops the chart among Indian women, with a ranking of No. 28.
