Timber smugglers attack DFO

ADILABAD: Nirmal Divisional Forest Officer M.A. Waheed was attacked by timber smugglers near Medipally village in Mamda mandal when he made an attempt to apprehend them when they were transporting a bullock cart load of illegally felled timber. The smugglers escaped by assaulting the DFO. He is recuperating in Nirmal hospital. A case has been registered.
