VISAKHAPATNAM: IBM India announced its operations in Visakhapatnam as part of its expansion plans to enter 14 new cities in the country. The objective of IBM is to tap the potential in the Small and Medium Business (SMB) marketplace under the brand name ‘IBM Express Portfolio’. The portfolio comprises hardware, software services, solutions and financing and is designed to meet the specific criteria for SMB s. “Small and medium businesses play an integral role in sustaining the nation’s growth. Vizag, a fast growing city, will be an important market for IBM and this initiative will further reinforce the commitment of the company to deliver things faster and better to our customers,” vice president of Global SMB, IBM India/South Asia Lingraju Sawkar, said in a release.
