Youths to be trained as surveyors

HYDERABAD: Jobless youths will be trained a surveyors to overcome the present shortage of surveyors faced by the Government while acquiring lands for irrigation projects and Indiramma housing programme.

The training will be taken yup by the National Academy of Construction here for three months for each batch of the youths selected for the jobs.

This was announced by Major Irrigation Minister P. Lakshmaiah after a review of this particular problem at a meeting here on Wednesday.
