Official’s advice to NSS volunteers

Deputy Educational Officer Narasimha Rao on Thursday advised volunteers of National Service Scheme to participate in the total literacy programme on a large scale and make it a success.

Interacting with the NSS volunteers at Kakaraparthi Bhavanarayana College here, Mr. Rao said that the government fixed a target of achieving total literacy by 2010 and launched Sarva Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) programme to achieve the goal.
