Date extended: The last date for submitting applications for admission to all courses run by the Institute of Distance Education has been extended to September 15.
Honorary Lecturer: The last date for submitting applications for the post of Honorary Lecturer at the teacher education colleges has been extended to September 10.
Evening course: Applications have been invited for the three-year MBA programme (evening course) offered by the Institute of Management in Kerala. There are 30 seats. Classes will be held at the city campus of the IMK from 5.30 p.m. to 8.40 p.m. Those with a recognised bachelor’s degree with not less than fifty per cent marks and two years of work experience can apply. Those in SC/ST category need only have minimum pass marks. Admission will be on the basis of an entrance, group discussion and interview, to be held from 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on October 27. The last date for submitting the applications is October 22.
Project Fellow: There is a temporary vacancy of Project Fellow in a five-year research project at the Department of Political Science. The project will research on ‘The problems posed by globalisation, ethnicity and terrorism in South India.’ Those with a post graduate degree in Political Science/Public Administration/Human Rights/International Relations with not less than fifty per cent marks and with research experience can apply (UGC–NET/JRF desirable). A monthly stipend of Rs.8,000 and allowances approved by the UGC will be given. Last date for submitting applications is September 16. They should be sent to, G. LLM Admission: Applications have been invited for the two-year (four semesters) LLM degree programme (Constitutional and Administrative Law) at the Department of Law.
Those with a recognised LLB degree, with not less than 45 per cent marks and who have appeared for the University’s PG entrance examination 2007, are eligible to apply. Applications will be accepted till 3 p.m. on September 12.
M.Com. Project: The last date for submitting the project for the second year M.Com course (2005-07) of the Institute of Distance Education has been extended to September 29.
