Man hurt as tree branch falls on auto

BANGALORE: One person was injured when a tree branch fell on an autorickshaw near Akkithimmana circle at Shanthinagar around 7.30 p.m. on Friday. Byre Gowda, a passenger, was injured in the incident.

Mr. Gowda was taken to a nearby hospital and a head scan was taken, said a BBMP spokesperson. The scan ruled out any injury to the head and Mr. Gowda was later taken to Victoria Hospital for treatment to injuries on his legs.
