Karimnagar: A tenth class student of a private residential high school in Kataram mandal headquarters mixed pesticide in the school’s drinking water pot to allegedly kill students on Saturday. Police sources said that the student, Ch. Laxman, who joined the residential school during the current academic year, went to his native village of Gomalapalli for two days and after his return, procured two pesticide bottles. On Friday night, he clandestinely mixed the pesticides in the drinking water pot. However, a student who noticed foul smell and change in the colour of water immediately informed the matter to the school authorities.
