Karat to tour Krishna district

Communist Party of India (Marxist) general secretary Prakash Karat will tour Krishna district as part of a campaign to educate people about Indian’s nuclear deal with the United States, on September 7.

According to a press release, Mr. Karat will be received by party activists at Prakasam Barrage at 9 a.m. He will address a public meeting at Tummalapalli Kalakshetram on arrival. He will later proceed to Machilipatnam and address meetings at Vuyyuru, Pammaru and Nidumolu. Mr. Karat will address a meeting at Koneru centre in Machilipatnam at 11 a.m.
