SRINAGAR: Hizb-ul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahuddin on Thursday said his group was ready to consider ceasefire in the coming month of Ramadan if the offer was sincere and serious. He admitted that militants were facing restrictions across the Line of Control. In an interview to Srinagar-based Kashmir News Service (KNS), he said his outfit was engaged in a long-drawn battle and “ups and downs are part of such a struggle.” “Keeping the prevailing situation in Kashmir in view, we are ready to consider a serious and sincere offer of ceasefire.”
