HYDERABAD: The Congress high command issued show-cause notices to two Congress MLAs P. Janardhan Reddy and M. Shashidhar Reddy asking them to explain why disciplinary proceedings should not be initiated against them for ‘anti-party activities’. They have been regularly criticising Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy, more particularly what they called the “anti-people and anti-Telangana” attitude of the Government headed by him. The AICC’s action was triggered off by their sharp criticism of the Government for failing to protect the lives of the people in the wake of the twin bomb blasts in the city that claimed 42 lives.
