Rs. 13.90 lakh stolen

Unidentified persons stole Rs. 13.90 lakh from the cash chest in the office of Alien Developers, a real estate firm, located in Vithalrao Nagar of Madhapur on Monday night. Madhapur police told reporters that they suspect the role of insiders.

Temple burgled

Nine statues of deities were stolen from Venkateswara temple of Badangipet in Vanasthalipuram on Monday night, the local police said. All of them are made of ‘pancha loha’ and are valued at 50,000, the police said.
